Airtight Router Default Login

Airtight routers most commonly use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway, though some models ship with 192.168.1.245 or another address. The full list is on this page.

In the verified rows on this page, the most common Airtight credential pair is root / (none) (33.3% of known rows). Always check the exact model row and the sticker on your router before resetting anything.

Find the recessed reset button on the back of the router. With the router powered on, press and hold it with a paperclip for 10–30 seconds until the LEDs blink, then release. The router will reboot with the original credentials and IP.

Log into the admin page, go to Administration → Firmware Upgrade (the exact menu varies by model). Modern Airtight routers can check for updates online; older ones require downloading the firmware file from the official Airtight support site and uploading it manually.

Make sure you're connected to the router (Wi-Fi or cable), you're using http:// not https://, and you're entering the gateway IP from the list on this page. Run our reachability test to confirm the router is responding.
