Cyberoam Router Login

Cyberoam routers most commonly use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway, though some models ship with 192.168.15.1 or another address. The full list is on this page.

The factory default is almost always admin / admin or admin / password. Some newer Cyberoam models leave the password blank or print a unique value on the sticker.

Find the recessed reset button on the back of the router. With the router powered on, press and hold it with a paperclip for 10–30 seconds until the LEDs blink, then release. The router will reboot with the original credentials and IP.

Log into the admin page, go to Administration → Firmware Upgrade (the exact menu varies by model). Modern Cyberoam routers can check for updates online; older ones require downloading the firmware file from the official Cyberoam support site and uploading it manually.

Make sure you're connected to the router (Wi-Fi or cable), you're using http:// not https://, and you're entering the gateway IP from the list on this page. Run our reachability test to confirm the router is responding.

Yes — most modern Cyberoam routers support a companion app (e.g. Tether, Nighthawk, Smart Home Manager, Linksys app) that mirrors the web admin. The app uses the same login credentials as the web page at the router IP.
